PRACTICAL INFORMATION

A Rolfing session lasts about 75 minutes. First your the way you stand and move are analyzed, and from this comes a plan specific to your needs and goals. The work is mostly done as you lie on a massage table, though Rolfing is also done in sitting, standing and walking. With skilled and precisely applied pressure the structural network (fascia) becomes more free and adaptable, bringing your body into greater balance. Awareness, breath and subtle movements serve to strengthen the process. blocks

It is possible (and often helpful) to document the process with before and after photos.

A Rolfing series normally consists of ten sessions, each one building on the last. It is of course possible to schedule individual sessions, either to sample the work or to address specific issues.
